Here, the retainer clip was positioned and drilled through pilot holes with #19 bit.I used AN526-8R6 round head machine screw and K1000-08 nutplate to hold the clip in alignment while drilling the second hole. Yes, finally i realised my earlier mistake and it was evident in this photo.Problem solved.
